Why do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
In order to give you the full attention of our experienced consultants, appointments are necessary.
How long is my appointment?
Bridal gown appointments are 1.5 hours.
Why is a booking fee required?
In order to secure your bridal appointment we charge a booking fee to reserve your requested appointment time. This appointment is private and with the uninterrupted help of a bridal stylist. For $25 your appointment time will be reserved. For $50 you will receive refreshments and hors d’oeuvres for up to 6 guests (including the bride) in addition to your reservation. This fee of $25 will be discounted from your wedding gown purchase.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring pictures of dresses you’ve seen on our website, in magazines, or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. And bring an open mind: don’t be surprised if you find “the dress” on your first visit to Fiancée. We have plenty shoes and undergarments for you to use when you try on gowns.
Who should I bring to my appointment?
Bring the closest friend or family member whose opinion you value and who knows you well and with whom you want to share the experience of buying your gown. Bringing more than 3 others can take the focus off of you.
What size gowns are available for me to try on? We carry gowns in all sizes, from 0-28.*
May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on? We do not allow cameras in the fitting rooms while you are shopping. Once you have purchased a dress, you may take as many pictures as you’d like.
When should I purchase my veil and/or headpiece? Fiancee offers a large selection of veils/headpieces in stock. We recommend purchasing these items with your gown to ensure a perfect match. Select special-order veils have a 3-4 months lead-time, so making a decision at the time you order your gown is helpful.
Can I complete my entire look in one appointment? Absolutely! Not only do many brides find their dress on their first visit to our store, but they also find all their accessories (veils, headpieces, shoes, jewelry etc) on their first visit.
Do I need to make an appointment to look at accessories? You may walk in at any time to try on shoes or jewelry; Appointments are required on Saturdays and if you are needing to put on your gown.
Children are welcome at Fiancée as long as they follow these courteous requests: No food, candy or uncovered beverages are allowed in Fiancee. Keep in mind that even though trying on wedding gowns is a memorable, fun experience for the bride it is usually long and uninteresting in the eyes of a young child. If you plan on bringing children with you, bring a toy or book to keep them occupied. It is important to have someone with who will watch the child while you try on gowns.
